Skandagiri popularly known as kalavarahalli betta is situated in chikkaballapur which is about 65 kms from bangalore. This hill is a continuation of nandi hill ranges.The sun rise at this hill is the most spectacular event to watch.
Journey to Skandagiri: Me along with few of my friends departed to skandagiri from bangalore at around 10:30 in the night on our bikes. The right time to be on this hill is around 5:00 AM in the morning, hence we had to depart in the night. Since it was an unknown destination we were very much exited to reach the place. We started in our bikes exploring the way to skandagiri.
